Vancouver - Canada

August 10th

So – more news from Vancouver. We promised pictures from our apartment and here they are. So in this element there will be a lot of pictures – hope your internet connection can handle it J

Just to see how the apartment is made. One big room with the bed loft on top of it.

A picture taken from the bed loft - lots of lots of windows!!

The view from the apartment is also quite nice - a couple of examples...

And one more...

Just one more from the apartment and then on to something new...

We went to Vancouver Aquarium this day and it was ok. The Beluga whales were funny but not the most beautiful animal we must say. If the screaming children were removed it would have been a very nice trip but it was still ok.

The beavers were the size of a dog – not too easy to see on this picture but cute little animals who really understand how to relax!!

Just one more...

That's all this time. Below is a picture from the beautiful seawalk we took from the apartment to the aquarium. Tomorrow we'll be off to the canadian rocky mountains and won't be back for two weeks time. But when we return (if we're not eaten by bears) we will have lots of pictures!!

August 8th

We just arrived yesterday evening local time – and that meant in the middle of the night where we came from. So a 1½ day with bright sunlight was a bit funny and not easy to sleep in. But we think that we are passed the jet lag ready to rock’n roll!!
The apartment is very very cool. It has approx. 5 meters to the ceiling and there is an almost 20 m2 bed loft. The windows are from the floor up half the room – and then another row of windows up to the ceiling – 22 windows and one double door with ocean view!!!! We'll take a picture and show tomorrow...if we remember...we promise!! if we remember that as well of course...

Today we spend time walking around in the local area of downtown Vancouver – mostly the old city area called Gas Town – that is where we live (pretty cool ay J)
There is such beautiful views all around wherever you go – water and very high mountains (which of course whisper “snowboard on meee…snowboard on meeeeee….”)

August 1th

It is just to the left of the "White thing" that we are going to live the next five month...

You can see where it is with Google Map!!
